QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid New Jersey School Occupational Therapy Certificate, appropriate licenses and certification to practice occupational therapy in the public schools issued by the State Board of Examiners under rules and regulations prescribed by the State Board of Education.
- Knowledge of skill and ability to implement current occupational therapy practices and techniques.
- Ability to set up equipment and lifting, transferring and positioning students.
- Ability to work well with students, members of the school community and the general public in a patient and caring way, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
- SEMI logging experience required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The employee must demonstrate physical strength, agility, and energy to perform essential job functions and to ensure health, welfare, and safety of all students and of self. The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by the employee to perform the essential functions of the job: sitting, standing, reaching, walking, lifting, bending, crouching, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, carrying, repetitive motions, speaking, listening, and visual acuity. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
